1932-01 – Offshore 25t winch frames

Offshore engineering winch frames

Saetech was contracted by Conbit to design various winch support frames for the offshore installation of additional piping on an offshore platform. Structural checks were carried out, as well as detailed 3D design of the winch support frames.

Engineering was carried out using 3D modelling software and FE analysis software. The total model was combined with the client platform to perform a clash check.

1922 – Port crane dismantling, Dublin

Saetech was contracted by G. O’Brien to design, check and confirm various transport and lifting arrangements for the dismantling of a Port crane in Dublin. The scope consisted of various structural checks, lifting plan checks and transport stability checks.

1929 – Ship transport saddle SPMT

SPMT Ship transport saddlde

Saetech is contracted by ALE Heavylift to design two frames to transport a ship section of 220t. The height of the frame is limited by the allowable installation height of only 550mm. The scope started from rough sketches, and finished with detailed fabrication drawings & structural checks.

1915-09 – Poorten Tilburgse kermis

Saetech was contracted by Meerdink Verhuur to check and confirm the structural integrity & stability of multiple gates which were designed to span the entrances of the Tilburgse kermis. All structures were checked for the actual loads (wind, imperfections & loadings) and ballast weights were optimized.

1914 – Ontwerpen hijsbalk (150t capaciteit)

Saetech was contracted by Dior Heavylift to design and check a lifting beam that fit their existing gantry system and lifting points. The height and width was therefore limited.

1915-10 – Hollandse Glorie Stage calculation

Saetech was contracted by Meerdink Verhuur to check and confirm the structural integrity & stability of a stage that was designed for a festival in Tilburg. The stage was checked for the actual loads (wind, imperfections & loadings) and ballast weights were optimized.

1903 – SPMT TP Transport frame

Saetech was requested by ALE Heavylift to check the structural integrity of a support frame design to transport TPs in Taiwan. The TP frame was checked and several clamps, guides and (bolt) connections were added to ensure the frame can be easily transported and re-used. The frame was also checked for supporting the TP during earthquakes.

1921 – Offshore gangway

Saetech was contracted by Tenwolde to check the capacity of existing modular gangways. The existing construction was capable up to 30m length. For this particular project, the length was to be increased to 40m. For this project, new modular adapters and modified support frames were to be designed as well.

1915-03 – Braaf Festival Stage

Stage calculation engineering Braaf Easter Festival

Saetech was contracted by Meerdink Verhuur to check and confirm the structural integrity & stability of a stage that was designed for a festival in Breda. The stage was checked for the actual loads (wind, imperfections & loadings) and ballast weights were optimized.

1901 – Offshore hose reel frame & GAPS

Saetech was contracted to design multiple offshore frames that needed to be constructed & installed within a week. The frames were required to support an offshore job on the North Sea. Design & construction was almost carried out simultaneously.
